Famed Architect Cesar Pelli Dead At 92

 NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Famed architect Cesar Pelli, known for designing some of the world's tallest and most iconic buildings, has died. He was 92.

Anibal Bellomio, a senior associate architect at Pelli's studio in New Haven, Connecticut, said Pelli died peacefully at his home in New Haven on Friday.

The Argentine-American architect is known for designing the Petronas Towers in Malaysia, the Salesforce Tower in San Francisco and other skyscrapers.

He was the former dean of the Yale University School of Architecture.
