New Haven Man Injured In Shooting

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) -- Police say a 34-year-old city man was injured in a shooting Saturday evening.

Officials say the shooting occured following a dispute inside a club at 102 Hamilton Street.

Witnesses provided details of a suspect and vehicle that was used to flee the scene, according to officials.

Darien Police along with the Connecticut State Police later stopped a vehicle fitting the description of the suspect vehicle on I-95 Southbound in Fairfield County.

No arrests have been made, police said.

The man suffered a wound to the leg and was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital for treatment. His condition is not yet known.
