Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting In Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC and AP) - Police in Hartford are investigating an early morning fatal shooting.  

Officers responding to the city's gunfire detection system found a 28-year-old man unresponsive outside a home on Garden Street at about 2 a.m. Monday.  

The victim, Randolph Paidama, had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators spent much of the morning canvassing the neighborhood.  

The victim's name was not immediately made public and there was no word on arrests.  

The death was the city's 16th homicide of the year.  

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact them.
