BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Bloomfield police have identified the remains found last Thursday, buried on state property off of Woodland Avenue.

Police say the remains were identified over the weekend as those of Elizabeth Rykhof, 56, who was reported missing by her family last September.

Police say Rykhof battled addiction, and her family had not heard from her for a month prior to the missing person report.

A cause of death had not been established as of Monday, but police have labeled the death suspicious.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact Bloomfield police at 860-242-5501.
