CCSU Say It's Passed $4M In Fundraising For Year

(New Britain, Conn./WTIC) - Officials at Central Connecticut State University are reporting a gorwing endowment as they close the books on the fundraising year.

CCSU says it raised a total of $4.3 million for the year.

Vice President of Institutional Advancement Christopher Galligan says coupled with matching funds of $1.6 million, the total for the period is just over $5.9 million.  

In addition, the CCSU Foundation awarded some $2 million in scholarships for the year.

As of June 29, officials say the endowment stands at just over $77.4 million.
