CSP: Man Tried To Pass Bradley Screening With Brass Knuckles

(Windsor Locks, Conn./WTIC) - A New Haven man is charged with trying to pass through security at Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks with brass knuckles.  

TSA officials say 33-year-old Matthew Lamar Smith was caught with the knuckles while attempting to pass through screening just after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.  

He's facing charges of tampering and carrying a dangerous weapon.

Smith is free on bond and due in court in Enfield August 29.
