HARTFORD, Conn (WTIC) - Thirteen alleged members of the Latin Kings gang have been charged with numerous federal offenses in connection with drug trafficking in Hartford's South End.

The FBI and Hartford police say the Nelson Ferry drug trafficking organization operated a trap house on Wethersfield Avenue, where customers bought fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and crack cocaine.

The charges stem from a joint FBI/ Hartford police investigation that included wiretaps and undercover drug buys.

Authorities say another suspect Jimmy Flores, also known as Cuz-o, also operated a separate drug operation.
