Guns, Drugs Seized In Farmington Home

(Farmington, Conn./WTIC Radio) - State Police are charging a Farmington man with running a drug factory in town.  

It was part of a multi-pronged investigation involving troopers, the DEA, the ATF, Farmington Police and the Statewide Narcotics Task Force into narcotics trafficking at a home on John Steel Road.

Under arrest is 52-year-old John Butler.  

Investigators seized nearly three pounds of marijuana, over a pound of THC edibles, and scores of Percocet pills.

In addition, 28 rifles, 29 handguns, ammunition, drug paraphernalia and over $108,000 in cash was seized. 

Butler is being held on quarter-million dollars bond.

Charges include possesssion of drug paraphernalia, operating a drug factory, and possession with intent to sell.
