(West Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio) - A man is under arrest and facing charges in connection with multiple armed robberies this week in West Hartford.

The first occurred on Tuesday just before 10:30 a.m. at a New Britain Avenue Dunkin Donuts.

Officers say 34-year-old Phiron Noun Mann made off with cash after implying he had a gun and threatening patrons and employees.

Then, early Wednesday morning a little after 3 a.m., West Hartford police say Mann held up the Gold Roc Diner on Kane Street at gunpoint.  There were no injuries in either incident.

Later Wednesday, Farmington Police received a report of a disabled motorist near Birdseye Road who apparently ran out of gas and threw an empty gas at other drivers.

They realized that suspect and vehicle matched descriptions from earlier police broadcasts on the robberies.

Mann is now facing mulitple charges including robbery, threatening, larceny, and carrying a dangerous weapon.

Police say a BB gun was found in his vehicle.
