Greater Hartford Area Police Increase Patrols Near Bus Stops

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC) - After two students were robbed while waiting for their school buses this week, police in the Greater Hartford area are stepping up patrols of bus stops.

The latest incident happened Wednesday morning in Windsor, when a 14-year-old boy was attacked and robbed of his cell phone. The attacker ran off got into a waiting car and fled the scene. The victim wasn't hurt. On Monday, a similar incident happened at a bus stop in Wetherfield.
