(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - Hartford Police say they arrested a man over the weekend for threatening a tow truck operator at gunpoint.

They say late Sunday night, a little after 11:00, officers responded to the area of 375 Garden Street.

Police located a suspect, identified as 27-year-old Luis Quintana.

He was taken into custody following a brief struggle, police said.

They say a search of the area turned up a firearm, a Ruger 9mm handgun, near where Quintana had been standing, according to police.

Quintana is charged with criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit and threatening.
