HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Hartford Police charge two currently detained men with murder in connection with a September 2019 fatal shooting.

City investigators allege Diondre Johnson, 19, and Jaden Davis, 20, both of Hartford, fired 12 rounds in the area of 86 Edgewood Steet the night of September 1, 2019.

One bullet landed in the head of the victim identified as Usher Hanns, 17, who died three days later at St. Francis Hospital. Four other people suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Both Johnson and Davis were held on unrelated charges when arrested Thursday.

Hartford Police have set bond at $1 million dollars for each man. Both men are facing the same charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, assault in the first degree, and carrying a pistol without a permit.
