Arrests Made in Hartford Kidnapping and Robbery

(HARTFORD,Conn./WTIC Radio) - Hartford Police have made three arrests after  an indivdual flagged down an officer  on Jefferson Street  Wednesday morning and  said he had  been robbed at gunpoint on Enfield Street and was forced to drive several suspects in his vehicle to  525 Hudson Street .The victim said he was  held against his will for  an undetermined amount of time and eventually managed to escape.

Officers responded to the Hudson Street apartment and detained  all of those inside.Police learned the girlfriend of  one of the accused  had a firearm in her purse.Officers  recovered the illegally possessed firearm.

Major Crimes   detectives inteviewed  all of the individuals involved  and substantiated the victims  account.One suspect remains  at large and a warrant will be issued for their arrest.

22 year old  Shaquill Strickland  of Hartford is charged with Kidnapping with a Firearm, Kidnapping , Robbery,Larceny  and  Possession of a Firearm without a permit.19 year old  Deasijah Burnham of Hartford  is charged with  Carrying a Pistol without a Permit and  Large Capacity Magazine.47 year old  Kenneth Daniels of Manchester   faces motor vehicle charges.
