(WTIC-AM) -- Lawyers representing two immigrant children separated from their parents have won a set of orders from a judge that could bring both children, the mother of one child and the father of the other child to Bridgeport Federal Court for a hearing on Wednesday.

The four orders were issued today by Judge Victor Bolden.

The lawyers for the children have been trying to get the parents transported from detention centers in Texas, to Bridgeport for court proceedings.

The two children, a 9-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl are being cared for by a social services organization in the Noank section of Groton.

The orders do not specify if the parents and the children will have time together outside of court, only that all four must be in courtroom two, two hours before an 11 am hearing in the case.

Lawyers for the children are also arguing that the children should be treated for post traumatic stress disorder by being released from detention with their parents in the US.
