(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - The state Department of Public Health is out with school-by-school vaccination data.

The numbers show that for the 2018-19 school year, 134 Connecticut schools have vaccination rates for kindergarteners for measles, mumps, and rubella that are below the 95-percent federally mandated guideline.

Additionally, the report shows there were 47 schools below that 95-percent threshold in both 2017-18 and 2018-19.

DPH says religious exemptions are up 25-percent between the two school years, from 2.0-to-2.5-percent, the largest increase since DPH began tracking the numbers a decade ago..  Nationally the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that rate at 2.2-percent.
