HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) -  An East Hartford man is held on a million dollars bond after state police say he led them on a chase from Andover to Hartford, following a domestic dispute with a gun Wednesday night.

Thirty-four-year-old Simmie Freeman allegedly fled troopers, after they located his vehicle at the Andover Plaza on Route 6. Freeman was located by state and local police in Hartford. He faces charges including interfering with an officer and reckless endangerment.

Police were first alerted when a woman texted them about a domestic dispute, said authorities.

Freeman was due in Rockville Superior Court Thursday morning.
