HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Everyone was able to make it out of an apartment building that burned in Hartford's North End Monday morning.

The blaze at Main and Capen Streets was reported at 6:13 a.m., and went to two alarms, considering the number of people who live in the roughly 18-unit building, according to authorities.

At least 23 adults and two children were displaced by the fire, said authorities.

The blaze was brought under control within an hour. No injuries are reported.

CT Transit buses were brought in to temporarily shelter displaced residents. The number of affected residents was not immediately available.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Authorities say the fire appears to have started in the roof area.
