(Fairfield, Conn./WTIC) - The former superintendent of the Fairfield department of public works has been arrested again.

Police say 58-year-old Scott Bartlett is facing multiple larceny charges following his arrest this morning.

According to investigators, Bartlett is accused of illegal use and misappropriation of funds from the bank account of a person for whom he had conservatorship over.

Authorities say he made withdrawls from the person's account for his own use.

Bartlett faces one count of first degree larceny and two counts of second degree larceny.

It was last summer that Bartlett and two others were arrested as part of an illegal dumping scheme in town.

Bartlett is free on $35,000 and is due in court February 10.
