Four Suspects Arrested after Westport Robbery

WESTPORT, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Four people were taken into custody following a Sunday aftenroon robbery at a T-Mobile Wireless store in Westport.

Police say three people entered the store on Post Road East covering their faces with masks. The suspects allegedly tore phones off displays, totaling about $6,700 in stolen merchandise. A fourth person was waiting outside in a getaway care.

The same suspects allegedly attempted to rob a similar wireless store in Stamford. Police were on-alert about the Westport robbery and were able to stop the robbery in progress.

No identities have been released. Police are working to identify the suspects and believe two of the four suspects are juveniles.

Police are still investigating.
