Hartford Police Investigate Garden Street Shooting

HARTFORD, CT (WTIC Radio)_ Hartford Police are investigating a shooting that left a man woudned just before 9 p.m. last night.

A 38-year-old man, with a minor injury to the back of his neck, flagged down police in the area of Garden Street and Albany Avenue.

The victim said that he was in the area of 313 Garden Street, waiting for a friend, when he was forced out of his car at gunpoint.

He was led behind an apartment building where a struggle broke out. The victim was able to escape but not without getting a minor gunshot graze wound to the back of his neck. The alleged suspects fled.

Police are investigating, although they say there is little evidence of a crime.

The victim was treated for his wound and has since been released from a medical facility.
