WINDSOR, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - An increased police presence at Windsor Public Schools Monday following a social media threat that surfaced over the weekend.

Police say they have arrested two male Windsor High School students after a Snapchat video featuring two young men with what appeared to be guns and a caption stating something to the effect "Windsor High School better watch out."

Police began investigating Saturday after getting an anonymous complaint. Police say the threat was not credible and the guns turned out to be "air soft" weapons.

The investigation is ongoing and police are not ruling out additional arrests.

Education officials say those responsible for the video were not in school Monday. They are urging parents to encourage their kids not to further share the video.
