Man Injured In Plainfield Bike Crash

(Plainfield, Conn./WTIC) - A Plainfield man was seriously injured last night when police say he fell 30 feet off a railroad bridge while riding a bicycle.  

Emergency personnel were dispatched the area of Water street in the Central Village section of town around 9:00 p.m.  

They say 27-year-old Nathaniel Laskarzewski was ridinng along the tracks when he attempted to cross a railroad bridge.  

He lost control of the bike and fell 30 feet off the side of the bridge, winding up near the Moosup River.  

Laskarzewski was taken via Life Star the Rhode Island Hospital for treatment,.
