(South Windsor, Conn./WTIC) - South Windsor police are charging an Enfield man after they say he was involved in a domestic dispute with a woman last week prior to crashing his car.

Officers say 41-year-old Brian Doolittle is charged.

Investigators say last Friday, Doolittle backed into the victim's vehicle on purpose several times and then struck the windshield before punching her in the head and speeding off in his vehicle.

Police say Doolittle rolled his vehicle over on West Road, where he was extricated and hospitalized with serious injuries.

He's now charged with criminal mischief, assault, and reckless endangerment.

Bond was set at $25,000 and Doolittle is due today in Rockville Superior Court.
