Monroe Police Investigate Vehicle Burglaries

MONROE, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Monroe police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and not leave anything of value inside, following a rash of vehicle burglaries.

Police have recorded around 10 burglaries in the past couple of days, mainly in residential areas of town. In virtually every case, police say the vehicle was left unlocked.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity or may have caught any suspicious activity on their security systems during the overnight hours to please contact the Monroe Police Department at 203-261-3622.
