(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - A former teacher facing charges of having sex with a student in Bloomfield is now also facing charges in Hartford.

Over Thanksgiving weekend, 30-year-old Patrick Dodds of Bloomfield was picked up in New Hampshire, where he'd been spending the holiday.

Hartford Police are now charging Dodds after it was determined he'd allegedly had sexual relations with a 16-year-old in the city, in addition to Bloomfield.

Dodds was a teacher at the Achievement First Academy in Hartford.

Hartford police are charging Dodds with sexual assault.  Those charges are in addition to ones previously filed by Bloomfield police, who conducted a parallel investigation.

Dodds' Hartford bond has been set at $50,000.
