Most Wanted Murder Suspect Nabbed in Bridgeport

(BRIDGEPORT,Conn./WTIC Radio) -  U.S. Marshals in Bridgeport  arrested a 15 Most Wanted Fugitive  for the 2002 murders of his sister and  an ex-girlfriend in New York City, along with a parole violation and  illegal entry into the United States.

U.S. Marshals from the Connecticut Violent Fugitive Task Force, along with  Bridgeport Police   arrested 54  year old  Andre Neverson Tuesday afternoon.He was located in the 600 block of  Ogden Street.Investigators had developed information  Neverson, a native of Trinidad and Tabago , was hiding in a house.Surveillance was  established and Neverson was  spotted exiting the home.

He is accused of shooting his sister  in the head and stomach on July 8,2002.The next day  authorities say, Neverson  abducted his   former girlfriend, who was found dead two days later.At the time of both killings , Neverson  was  on parole  by the state of New York  for attempted murder in the second degree , assault in the first degree  and criminal possesion of a firearm.In November 2002, Neverson is accused of entering a  home  of another ex-girlfriend armed with a handgun  in an attempt to visit his daughter The woman’s brother interrupted and Neverson fled without further incident.U.S. Marshals had been working on the case since 2004.
