NORWALK, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Norwalk police have arrested a city man for the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile.

Harvin Rivera, 29, was arrested on charges of second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor after he was found hiding under a bed in his apartment Sunday, said police.

Police made the arrest after receiving a complaint the same day, and working with the Department of Children and Families to identify a suspect. Police didn't say if or how Rivera knew the child.

Rivera was held on $250,000 bond pending arraignment February 26.
