Police: Alcohol Compliance Check Finds More Than 100 Underage Drinkers

NORWALK, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - The  Department of Consumer Protection has  suspended the liquor license  of Jonny Utah's and ordered the business closed until further notice  after  Norwalk police say they found 103 underage drinkers during an alcohol compliance check Thursday night at the local watering hole.

Police say 93 of the minors found at the bar  on Washington Street are Fairfield University students. Police had to call in extra resources and a bus to haul the students back to campus.

Many of the underage drinkers were intoxicated and did not have any type of identification, said police.
