Severe Storms Roll Across Connecticut

(WTIC)-  Severe thunderstorms moved across Connecticut  Wednesday, triggering two tornado warnings and  several severe thunderstorm warnings.Tornado warnings were issued for Hartford, Tolland and Windham counties.Rotation was detected on radar, but there were no reports of any tornadoes touching down  in Connecticut.

Manchester appeared to have the most damage with trees,branches and wires down, cutting power to  nearly 2,700 Eversource customers at one point.Some fell on homes and vehicles.There was also street flooding in town.The most damage was in the southesetern part of Manchester.

There were no reports of any serious injuries attributed to the storms.
