State Police Identify Yale and Hamden Officers Involved in Tuesday Morning Shooting

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ State Police have named the two officers who allegedly opened fire on a vehicle they were pursing early Tuesday morning.

Hamden Police Officer Devin Eaton and Yale University Police Officer Terrance Pollock were trying to stop a robbery suspect, driving in the area of Dixwell Avenue and Argyle Street in New Haven.

They allegedly opened fire on the vehicle, striking a 22-year-old female passenger. The suspect was not hit by gunfire. The 22-year-old victim was treated for her non-life threatening injuries at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Both officers are on administrative leave while State Police investigate.
