MILFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Milford police have arrested a Stratford man for allegedly scrawling threatening messages at an apartment complex.

Police say Miguel Silva, 31, left the messages in a common hallway of the apartment complex on River Street January 19. The messages included "ISIS we will kill cops" and “Milford Police Stratford Police ISIS you got our guy in Shelton this is the beginning,” said police. Silva also left messages in other buildings at the development, they said.

Silva was arrested Thursday on charges of first-degree harassment, first-degree threatening, second-degree breach of peace and terrorism.

He was held on $50,000 bond pending arraignment Friday in Milford Superior Court.
