Three Hartford Men Facing Firearms Charges

(HARTFORD,Conn./WTICNews) -  Hartford Police  arrested three  city men Thursday afternoon after receiving information about  a person illegally possessing a firearm in the area of Chappelle Gardens on Barbour Street.

The vehicle involved was identified and  found unoccupied in front of 393  Barbour Street.Police set up surveillance and  observed three  men entering the vehicle.

Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop and  found a gun in plain view on the  driver's side rear was later determined the weapon had been stolen out of West Hartford.A second firearm was found under the front passenger seat.

21 year old  Michael Jones, 25 year old  Matthew Russell and  21  year old Tyler Cook face  firearms charges.
