FARMINGTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Farmington Police are investigating an accident Wednesday night that killed two men who were riding ATVs.

A 71-year-old father, his 30-year-old son, and a third person were riding their ATVs in the abandoned Tilcon Quarry on Route 6.

Shortly before 8 p.m., police say Steven Price of Bristol and his son Mark Price of Plainville, fell about 75 feet down a cliff and were killed. The third person who was with them rode down Route 6 to a nearby Subway restaurant to call 911.

The witness led emergency responders through the quarry to find the two victims. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating but do not suspect foul play.
