CANTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - A Winsted man has been arrested for allegedly threatening to assault one worker and kill everyone at a Canton daycare.

Police say David Ragozzine, 29, phoned in the threat to Joni's Daycare and Preschool on Albany Turnpike Monday afternoon.

Ragozzine was arrested without incident on charges of first-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace. He remained held on $100,000 bond pending a court appearance in Hartford Tuesday.

An officer was posted at the daycare as a precaution, said police.
