Since 2016, Yale University forensic psychologist Dr. Bandy Lee and the World Mental Health Coalition have been expressing their concerns about the public impact of President Trump's mental health. Given an evidently compliant U.S. Senate and Department of Justice, Dr. Lee tells WTIC's Dave Mager that Trump is likely to feel more emboldened and aggrieved than ever. She tells loyal Trump supporters that if the president is truly "stable" (his term) he should prove it by submitting to a full mental health workup. She adds than any other public person who acts like he does would be involuntarily committed as a threat to public safety.
