NORTON, Mass. (WTIC) - It's not a drought yet, but conditions in Connecticut are abnormally dry after several months of lower than normal rainfall.

Edward Capone, a hydrologist with the Northeast River Center Forecast, says ground water is starting to become lower than normal.

Most of central, northern, and eastern Connecticut is abnormally dry for the season.
