(South Windsor, Conn./WTIC) - Police in South Windsor are charging a man with manslaughter in the death of his brother nearly two years ago.

This morning, officers arrested 29-year-old Daniel Epstein and charged him with manslaughter in the death of 31-year-old Marc Epstein.

Police say they were called to a Brian Road residence after receiving a call from a visiting nurse who'd reported suspicious conditions after arriving to administer medicine to two patients.

Officers found Marc Epstein dead.

They later located Daniel Epstein at a relative's house a short time later and he was taken to a hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Police say Daniel Epstein was released from the hospital today, after which he was arrested on the manslaughter charge.

His bond was set at $1 million.

Police did not explain the circumstances surrounding the death.
