Two Teens Injured In New Haven Shooting

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTIC) - Police in New Haven are investigating an early morning shooting that left two teenagers injured shortly after midnight.

Officers say a 17-year-old male was hit in the shoulder as he stood among a group of people at Willow Street near Mitchell Drive and Nash Street. He was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say a 15-year-old girl was also hit by glass fragments, and had to be treated for a leg injury.

Theer is no word yet on a motive, nor have any suspects been identified.
